Members of the 2nd Unit of People's Defense Force (PDF) Battalion-1 of Kyaukpadaung Township of Mandalay Region, Hein Zayar Phyo and Hein Zayar Oo, were arrested on June 1. They were transferred from Letpan Pyar Police Station to Division 99 on June 3 where they were tortured and killed. On June 4, at around 3 PM, the bodies of Hein Zayar Phyo and Hein Zayar Oo were cremated. They were living in Bo Tae Village in Kyaukpadaung Township and were distance education students from Myingyan University.
